One of the Late Hopewell-phasing-into-Mississippian points--true early "Arrowheads", not dart points by that time (dates vary, it seems, depending on who you talk to, but in the year 500--our year 1,000, somewhere in that age). This Jacks Reef is out of Fayette County, Illinois, ex Bill Pesch collection--and catalog number on both faces, Burlington Chert, and 1&5/8" by 3/4", 3/16" max thickness--and much of the blade length thinner than that.
