Not a granite, but (I think ) Diorite, 5&3/16" by 2"--with a center thickness of 1&5/16"--a great bit, formed, crisp edge, and heavily polished. On a bottom corner is a Woodland timeperiod repair of a nick. There is a heavy gloss where the Adena hunter ground that repair spot to a heavy sheen. The rest of the Celt shows the "peck-and-polish" technique, squared on top, bottom, and heel. The Celt is out of Sangamon County, Illinois, guaranteed authentic in every detail.
