Well, a week soaking to get off the glue, a second 'bath' in gasoline, some more glue picking...SO if there's any glue remaining in the "deep spots", hey, I've tried. One discovery made, though, is that I expected the small 1 &3/16" Pinetree Cornernotch was Hornstone, but cleaning shows more the color of Carter Cave (Paoli Chert)--pleasant surprise. The point is from the Somerset, Kentucky, area, still in Carter's distribution area. Width is 13/16", and max thickness is 3/16"--=symmetrical little dart point, well made, patinated, authentic.
