I pay the shipping (should cost about $9--$10, so you know the actual figure these six Lawrence County, Illinois, artifacts are being sold at. The group, from one collector, were very likely found on the 'not far away' Wabash River. The longest is a 3&1/16" flint knife--it shows a color band, an inclusion that rings the circumference. The other five are actual point types--a couple with snapped tips, a couple with snapped stems--they're "used", some more than others. The "higher grade" flint snap base (some old glue on one face) is Crescent Quarry, Burlington's "higher grade cousin"--it's a snap base Kirk with very high grae knapping (and a dark red iron inclusion). The wide Snyders is 2&5/16" by a wide 2"--before all the Woodland Period use that was one fine piece of flint. Any questions, please send them. I take only payments that come through the U.S> mail: checks, cash, or money orders. Sorry, you cannot use paypal-type services on my store--Roy A.
