Very good basal grinding on this "Kirk Tradition" Palmer Point out of Pike County, Indiana--sometimes it seems Palmers were the only Kirk-type points that got decent basal grinding. Length is 1&9/16" by 3/4"--good 'balance' to the dart, a fraction over 1/4" max thickness. When I see a 7500BP point that well made, hey, give that ancient knapper credit. The point came to me still covered in dirt--and some child (I'd guess) had written something in ink on one face--not at all readable, so I cleaned off the inkstain--if any remains on side B, you'll know what was once there. My intention, always, is to describe exactly what condition the point is in--and provide as much provenance as I've collected--the history of a piece matters...when it goes in your collection. Shipping is $8.00,USPS pricing, and checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
