Shipping included on this big (3" by 1&7/8", half-inch thick) Snyders from the northwest corner of Missouri, found somewhere in the Missouri--Mississippi--Illinois rivers confluence area. Some estate auctions, that's about as much provenance as they can provide. While not the thinnest Snyders Point I've ever seen, the heavily heat-treated Burlington Chert is well patinated. Note at the very tip are a pair of tiny 'notches' to make you think the tip was used more as a burin/ reamer, it caused a pair of tiny chips to make the tip more of a drillbit, if that makes sense.
