Based on the flint types my guess is the family was based more in western Tennessee that Kentucky, but that's a guess, they sold the estate without disclosing any additional provenance (by their choice)--I wanted more history but couldn't pry that out of the auction people. So--the low price reflects the "Here's what I know"--points are real, that's the main thing. Each piece shows ancient and farming-made dings...exactly what you expect with field finds. The longest two each measure 2&5/16"--the smallest two measure 1&5/8". The wide Cotaco Creek measures 2&1/16" by1&1/2"--the hornstone is weathered, but fresh hornstone exposed on the field snapped stem, much darker where freshly exposed--just authentic. Shipping is $9.00 (USPS rates), and payment can be by cash, check, or money order. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy a.
