A Shelby County, Illinois-found Hardin point, ex Bill Pesch collection, and the finders' name a nd location notated on the piece (ink and a clear coat to protect the provenance)--also on the base is Mr. Pesch's catalog number. Made of a very good grade of Burlington Chert, length is 2&5/8" by 1&5/16"--VERY good balance to the blade, 3/8" max thickness. The tip shows slight ancient salvage, very likely the tip used as a burin---you used leather for everything you wore or lived in, you punched a lot of holes in leather--a leatherpunch was something used almost every day. Basal grinding is excellent, patina the same, every detail is guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $7.00, checks or money orders are what you'll need to send for payment. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
