82230--Ten piece smaller arrowheads , Indiana
Ten smaller size dart points and "true arrowheads" (Mississippian Culture) from Vanderburgh County, S.W. Indiana--and one Mid Archaic point that was refashioned 6500BP into a Hafted Scraper. The longest point is a white flint "Maddison Point"--a Mississippian Culture made bow and arrow point, 1&1/4"--several of the points are 1&3/16", the smallest is the 13/16" Auriculate Base Madison. Note the white Motley-looking point may be a Late Archaic Riverton Culture point, not a Motley--neat point, though--the 'teardrop' shaped point (or perforator) has some heat damage on one side--likely why it became a perforator. The family hunted river floodplain sites along the Ohio River, what they found (these), they're real. Shipping is $9 due to ALL the postal rate increases (sorry !).
