Price includes the shipping cost on this Hornstone Kirk Stemmed-Serrated, a hhalf a sixteenth over 3" by 1&1/2"--with a 5/16" medial ridge. The piece was part of a Posey County, S.W. Indiana, collection. Like most long knives, it shows use, wear, touch-up, and even more use--it SHOULD, it's 100% guaranteed authentic. Just to get more flint (Indiana Harrison County Hornstone) meant a 100+ mile travel--more if by river. Flint points got used until either lost or exhausted. You want to understand how valuable flint was--imagine a deer hide filled with flint across your back on the trip home from the Leavenworth, Indiana, area: hills, downed trees, deep creeks, no paths to follow, and best of all other tribes who might (or might not) want you traveling through their home turf. You used and cared for your flint--this Kirk being a perfect example. Shipping is $8.00--$7.00 if you don't mind a recycled box from an Optometrist's office, lol--and checks or M.O.s are how I welcome payment. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type payment services--Roy A.
