A Gibson County, Indiana, find along the Wabash River--Muldrough Chert, slightly over 1&9/16". I'm supposing the red on tip and base indicates fire tempering of the sort-of-rough Muldrough Chert--found in Harrison County, Indiana, streambeds while flint gatherers were there to quarry Hornstone. Now why they hauled Muldrough Chert over a hundred miles back home, hey, 7500 years too late to ask some flint quarrier that question---obviously they likes the color, decided to add the raw chert to their backpacks.
