The degree of bevel (heavy, heavy beveling) would indicate the Spencer County, Indiana, point is a Hardin, but that very short base, something about it says "Decatur". This point is one I think if you sent it to a half-dozen authenticators the reports would all come back authentic, yes, but half calling it one thing, the others going for the other label...and I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone said "Pinetree". Basal grinding is super heavy, that may be the other reason to call it a "Short Based Hardin". Pick out the characteristics that convince you--in your collection you get to call the piece what you want.
