82087--Five Hornstone arrowheads, Indiana
Five very decent points from a local collection--four dart points and a Mississippian Culture "Madison" triangle that's bow-and-arrow use (not a thrown 'dart point'). All are made of differing shades of Harrison County, Indiana, hornstone, the longest being the Motley at 1&13/16". They range in age from the cornernotch types at 7500BP up to the Madison that's likely not much more than 600BP. The collection (the family) gathered points in the Evansville, Indiana, surrounding counties, fields, and likely along the Ohio River for the Motley as those peoples stayed pretty well along riverbank sites.
