Nice piece of Paleo workmanship out of Kentucky, ex L. Hoagland collection. Length is very slightly under 2&1/8" by slightly over 1&1/8"--1/4" thickness over most of the blade. There is fine basal and lateral edge grinding, a base that shows a triple thinning flute on one face, a double (light) flute on the reverse--and enough patina to get you a COA from Jerry Dickey if sent to him--also an open-ended, no time limit guarantee of authenticity from me--that enough? Is the Paleo Quad point a hornstone or a form of Hopkinsville (KY) chert--near where it was found--I'd call it "Hopkinsville". The tip shows long hours of work, first a chip happened and the Paleo user made that smoothed tip even more polished by scraping action--one photo should show the light reflection from that work polish. A fine Paleo for anyone's collection. Shipping is $9.00 with checks or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
