82621--High grade Adena w/ Buck Creek look
I pay the shipping--you know the exact cost up-front on this Warrick or Spencer County, Indiana, creek find from a decade (or more) back. Made of a high grade of our Harrison County (Indiana) hornstone, patinated by some two thousand years of creek immersion,2&3/16" by 1&1/8"--slight cortex on the base of the stem. The point may be a very late Adena with some Buck Creek (stylistic) influence--I think the barbs were longer before all the ancient sharpenings. Those sharpening actions are evident in the blade--the way it 'cuts in' above the barbs is more a Buck Creek tradition than a 'true Adena'-type sharpening--you can see the transition from one culture to the next.
