Shipping and point will be $45 total ($8 shipping, USPS minimum)--a NICE piece of Harrison County, Indiana, hornstone that came from a Warrick County, IN collector--that little ding off the tip keeps the price reasonable. The finder worked Woodland sites along the Ohio River, so I'd say the point was found this way (under a 10x loop you can spot tiny sand grains and soil in the snap-off area--that only happens if the point was found that way. Too, the point was very obviously never washed, dirt remains in almost all the crevices of the flake scars. Length is 2&7/16" by 1&7/16"--stem shows excellent edge grinding. That stem, the size of it, it tells you the knifeblade was considerably longer as it started out, constantly resharpened as needed--tiny end chips show on the barbs. Those are what you hope to find on an authentic point--good piece, I think. I welcome checks or money orders, but do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
