Out of a Tipton County, N.C. Indiana, collection, NICE piece of chert--Liston Creek if I have the identification correct--color, 'waxiness', fracture planes match up with that chert type from north-central Indiana. The piece started off as a Pickwick Point, then use and sharpening of wear resulted in a drill form--very decent drill form. Length is just short of 2&1/4" by 1" width across the barbs, a 5/16" max thickness. The stem, base and sides, have light edge grinding. The finder marked the piece as a 1957 find--well made, real, the two things that matter most. Shipping is $8.00, checks, cash, or money orders are how I welcome payments. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
