A Green Co., Indiana, Kirk Stemmed-Serrated made of a glossy brown flint or brown Jasper--GOOD quality material, whichever of the two it is, 1&13/16" by 1&3/8", very slightly over 1/4" down from the tip. Where the thickest spot occurs , 3/4" down from the tip, that usually indicates there blade was considerably longer as first made--another factor that confirms the longer (at one time) blade is that the tip is slightly off-center. As a hafted knife that wasn't 'any big deal'--that serrated edge, that was what was important to a hunter. The sides of the stem, the center of the notched stem, those areas show grinding--especially the basal center, they really worked that incurvate notch. You'll feel it. Great patina, 100% guaranteed authenticity, period. Shipping is $9.00--my apologies, USPS shipping cost is on an escalator. I welcome payments by check, money order or cash, but I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
