Found in Henderson County, Kentucky, along the Ohio River, made from Indiana Harrison county Hornstone, slightly under 3&1.2" by 1&1/2", 3/8" max thickness. The 'usual' classification for these is Adena Bi-pointed blade, a "willow leaf" design favored by the Woodland Culture Adena peoples--age is in the 2500BP to 2,000 year old range, but you always find some dates pushing Adenas either slightly older or a few hundred years later--normally I don't expect the "later dates" held much water as Hopewell Peoples moved onto the same river's edge sites, their midden over-lays the Aden midden--or adds to it. Good blade, 100% guaranteed authentic in every detail. Shipping is $9.00 (due to USPS rates), and checks or M.O.s are the ways to buy the piece. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
