Out of a Bond County, Illinois, collection, a Dixon or square stemmed Adena type. The flint is one I can't begin to name--the orange fossil-bearing base, the extremely high grade material that forms the upper blade--good stuff, whatever it is. Length is 2&7/8" by 1&1/8", the thickness barely reaching 5/16"--which is why the upper blade is slightly translucent. Patina is there, the point is ancient--and very well crafted by the Woodland knapper. Shipping is $8.00, checks or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
