Up for sale is a very nice specimen of an Early Archaic Cobbs Knife. This artifact has a good size to it 4 1/8" long x 1 11/16" wide. It was recovered from Macon county, Illinois. This piece has a great provenance history. It was once Walter Dudkewitz collection...he was featured in Who's Who #4. The artifact is made from a beautiful Burlington chert. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
