A mix of Harrison County-quarried Indiana Hornstone and Perry County, IN Derby Flint--along with a couple that are made of river pebble Red Jasper--easy to recognize those by their color. The longest point is a hornstone Snap Base (salvaged and edge-polished by the Woodland Culture user) Buck Creek point, not quite to 1&3/4"--very thin for the length of the point. The Turkey Tail point made of Derby Flint is another that was heavily used and salvaged (as they so often did), 1&7/16". The mottled-color bifurcated Kirk Stemmed is another very thin piece--the flint may be in the Spencer County, Indiana, found "Holland Flint" family--that's as close as I can classify it--unusual color for 'Holland', but ancient hunters, tracking deer through area creeks would stumble on small flint outcrops, take "chert samples" home for the village knapper to work. Maybe, if he approved, they went back for more--but sometimes you find only one or two pieces (on a campsite) and try your best to identify who/ what/ where. These ten come from an Evansville, Indiana, area collection, each is guaranteed real. Shipping is $8.00 with payment to be by check or money order. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
