Up for sale is a pair of Waratan type points that are made from beautiful Quartzite material. These are very nice classic examples of the type, but both do have tip damage as can be seen in the photos. Waratan type projectiles are from the Woodland era. They measure 1 1/4" long x 1" wide and 1 1/2" long x 3/4" wide. The artifacts were recovered from the Yadkin River Valley of North Carolina. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of their authenticity.
