82573--Creek found Kirk Stemmed Bifurcate,IN
Store: R.A.Autry Artifacts
Price:
$35.00
Status:
Available
A fine small Kirk Bifurcate from the Dubois-Pike County, Indiana, creekbeds--Spencer County's Holland Chert (Chalcedony), just under 1&5/8" by slightly over 7/8"--1/4" max thickness. The on-edge photo shows the heavy creek patina. The Kirk must have started slightly longer, you can see the heavy four-sided-blade edges--the sharpening technique Kirks favored, and a trace of a 7500BP impact fracture to the tip. The patina is there, the piece is 100% guaranteed real, period. Shipping is $9.00 which is USPS standard shipping anymore. I welcome checks or M.O.s, but do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
