Last in a Tipton County, Indiana, collection, but what I found was the collector was buying points from Illinois, Fayette County and other area counties--you see a heat treated Burlington Snyders in an Indiana collection (and the seller doesn't provide ANY provenance, you use the long years of experience you have in 'triangulating' where the piece came from--wish I had more provenance than that to provide--not always available. Length is 2&3/8" by almost 1&7/8"--thickness is excellent at 3/8". The photos should show slight use-made nicks on the barbs--ancient, but there is a basal corner chip where you can study patina--the chip is new (shows as a very small white spot), a 'handling ding' I'd rate it (came to me this way). The tip and blade edges show excellent patination, so does the basal edge, other than that one corner chip all surfaces are anciently patinated, guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $8.00, checks or M.O>s are the two ways to pay. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
