Six points left from an auction in Allen County, Indiana, decent points in their own right, better than I've found the last couple years, but that's not saying much these days. What they have in common, besides where they're from is that they represent the types of flint/ chert found near where Indiana and N.W. Ohio meet--Ft. Wayne, Indiana, area. The longest is the Buck Creek,2&1/8" of what looks to be a grade of Coshocton Flint--next is the Cornernotch Pinetree type--basal ground, 2&1/16", made of a reddish-tan chert that shows iron coloration. The smallest is the cornernotched dart that I'd call a " Gravel bar" flint--something the glaciers carried in,1&5/16". The top row are several "everyday points" showing considerable use/ wear, used as scrapers or darts (center top). ALL are guaranteed real. Shipping is $8.00 with checks (cash is fine) or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
