A "downsizing by the finder" piece from Benton County, Indiana--nicely made point made of Attica chert "Green" as most refer to it--right on 2" by nearly 1&1/8" across the barbs (one fully intact, one with a very small end chip). The auriculate base is heavily ground, a clear sign the point is Early Archaic in origin--along with the pressure chipping that confirms that. The finder had the point glues to a board, old, yellowed water-based glue that's easy to remove. I generally leave the glue for the next owner as it shows how the piece was displayed...unless it detracts from actually seeing the chipping quality. Some collections, the "glue slop" is a mess, you can't see what you're getting until the glue is removed. Not here. Mineralization (patination) is excellent, every detail is guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $8.00, checks, money orders (or cash) are the three ways to buy the piece as I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
