One look at the grade of hornstone, you know the piece came from either far southern Kentucky or west-central Tennessee--certain flints, they're only found in a particular part of the country, this 2&11/16" Pickwick (to me) says western TN. The point shows a great deal of use, the tip having been used as a buffing application, slight wear on the one barb resulting from use & resharpening of the more heavily used work edge--many knives, one side took all the wear. The stem shows the heavy degree of iron in the area where the flint formed--nice piece, REAL. Shipping is $8 (blame the post office, small packages are no longer cheap to send. I take payments only by check or M.O., I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
