Spencer County, Indiana, origin on this hornstone Pinetree,1&11/16"--one blade edge shows far heavier sharpening than the opposite edge, the barb almost sharpened-away. The basal grinding is as heavy as any Pinetree I've ever picked up, but part of the reason could be that the piece received so many edge sharpenings, so much work to the tip (heavily used as a drill).
