Out of Union County, Kentucky, formerly in the Dr. Skaggs collection, the Lynch Collection before that--exactly who cataloged the piece as #187 I couldn't say--likely Lynch, as the doctor didn't place catalog numbers on any other pieces that I saw. The Pinetree length is 2&5/16" by 1&5/8", thickest spot in the hafting area is 3/8". Serrations and basal grinding, both are excellent. Something took a tiny 'bite' out of one barb, but didn't break it--how'd that happen??? There is a very small impact fracture on the very tip, one side (edge) only. Put the piece under magnification, the patina is there, soil is still present in some fracture (knapping scar) every detail is real. Shipping is $7.00, checks or M.O.s are the two ways I take payment. Sorry, that means paypal is not accepted--Roy A.
