We are back! Give me a couple days to sort out the emails and get settled in at work and I will start posting new points. The trip took us just over 12,000 miles in under 5 weeks. We started at Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Glaciar National, Banff, Jasper, Denali, made the circle in Alaska and came back down the Cassiar Highway along the coast of Alaska and Canada so that we did not see the same area twice. We camped at the back of Denali at Wonder Lake, saw Sea Lions, Seals and Otters have a feast during the salmon run in Valdez, walked on Glaciars in several places, watched the Salmon migration at Ships Creek in Anchorage, toured the Redwood Forest (Avenue of the Giants), camped along the Washington, Oregon Coastal Highway,traveled the Rim of the World Highway, visited Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, and Carlsbad. We had a camper shell and only spent 5 nights in hotels or resorts. Ask me and I will gladly share tips that can make your adventure more enjoyable and less expensive.
