A S.W. Indiana Knobbed Hardin find, Gibson or Posey County, 2&1/8" by 1&3/16"--very, very good edge(left) bevel sharpening. The stem, sides and base, are strongly edge-ground--as they should be on an Early Archiac point/ knife. The flint is either West Franklin, a local chert near Evansville, or a form of Indiana Spencer County quarried Holland Flint--I'm leaning toward it being West Franklin, a Vanderburgh county, Indiana, found material--good gloss, higher silicate level so it knapped with some fine pressure chipping. The tip was used as sort of an edge scraper, you'll find work polish on that tip indention. The pics might not show it clearly but the one barb is ancient salvage--it dinged, they (the Early archaic hunter) repaired it, polished it. Every detail is guaranteed authentic.
