Slightly over 4&3/8" by 2&1/8", 1&1/2" thickness in the center of the Celt. The piece, a find from the Bond--Montgomery County, Illinois, area is Woodland Culture--Adena Culture would be my guess, based on the form. The bit--pictures show the completeness is excellent--weight is extra heavy as the material they used is Greenstone, that heavy, very hard river cobble favored by ancient users. The finder wrote some provenance on the bit area, but other than reading-off Illinois, too many of the numbers/ characters have worn too much--maybe you'll have more luck at reading it than I have. Every detail is real, period. Shipping is $12.00, checks or M.O.s are the ways the piece can be paid for, but please note I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
