A very long Adena that was knapped across most of the width of a Hornstone nodule--the blue quartz nodule center forms the center of the right at 4" blade. Width is very slightly over 1&1/4", 3/8" max thickness. The base of the stem shows the 'clip' of so many Adena points--flattened to keep it from rocking back-and-forth on its knife handle. I'll give a 'damage report' to show how little that could be considered damage: 1/32" of the tip has a handling ding--you can contrast the patina on that one tiny spot to the rest of the blade. The piece was found in Kentucky, and has moved around--I got it from an Illinois collection: two very different catalog numbers, one on each face, wish I had a 'key' to each previous collector's numbering system--what is easy to provide is a 100% guarantee of authenticity--this piece is REAL. Shipping is $8.00, checks or money orders are the ways to but the piece, but please note I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
