3&13/16" by 1&3/16", some 3/8" max thickness on this Hornstone Early Archaic Culture knife--the tip shows polish-work as a scraping edge--not sure if the side indention was a shaft scraper or just a repair of a nick--you can bet it did get used, though, Early Archiac hunters needed every trick to feed their families. Check out the pressure chipped blade edges, it's some really fine pressure chipping. The piece was never cleaned by the family who found it, some soil still in the deep crevices of the knife--what most would call a "Cobbs Knife", but sort of narrow for those preforms, so likely this was destined to always remain a hand-held knife. Shipping is $8.00, checks, cash, or money orders are the way to buy it. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
