Neat little Pennsylvania Perkiomen point. These are often associated with mobile Late Archaic groups that traveled along river valleys and into upland settings. This example is made of banded rhyolite and measures just shy of 2 inches long. It is not in the finest condition, showing an ancient tip ding, but it remains more than 95 percent intact overall.

Perkiomen points are a desirable collector type, and examples in pristine condition command top dollar at auction. This one is priced accordingly and will probably sell fast.
