A Wayne County, Illinois, Madison Point, Mississippian culture made of what looks to be Payson Flint, 1&1/2" by 5/8", barely 1/8" max thickness, VERY well knapped and patinated. Was the corner chip done to better-haft the arrow tip, or was it 'damage', I think you could make an argument either way--old, the patina shows in the two-chip edge-off. The piece was purchased from the finder, it's been in my collection for slightly over a quarter century (1998)--it's guaranteed real. Shipping is $7.00 with checks, cash, or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not take electronic payments (like paypal)--Roy A.
