A Trigg County, Kentucky, area Hardin short base type--Hornstone or the similar looking St. Genevieve Flint. Length is 2&7/16" by 1&3/16"--the Early Archaic culture knapper was pretty good, the thickness doesn't go much over 1/4"--when they could keep the preform that thin, still get good width to the piece it's one sign of a skilled flint worker. The split base is well ground. It looks like the piece had at least one sharpening, the tip showing some much smaller pressure-made chips I'd associate with blade sharpening. A decent point and 100% guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00 with checks or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
