The point came from Warrick County, Indiana, but putting a 'type name' on it is difficult--it's Early Archaic Culture, but the basal lobes (not exactly the right word for them, is it?) are more squared than a MacCorkle--far more squared. The early culture knapper went to extra trouble to center-notch that base, but in doing that he made it The closest I've come takes me back forty years to the point type we called Rice Lobbed Points--close as I can come--guaranteed authentic. Length of the hornstone is 2&1/16" by 1&5/16"--one barb is an ancient use-made ding. Shipping is $6.00, checks, cash, or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I don't use paypal--Roy A.
